New badge system

Easily identify the products you're looking for.

I'm always looking for ways to improve the shopping experience for users of this website. Recently, I came across an article listing some of the main things that consumers reported looking for when buying cosmetics. These included 54% looking for cruelty-free products, 50% for paraben-free and 30% for alcohol-free. This report also said that 72% of respondents wanted to know more about the ingredients in their products and how they were produced. I already list all ingredients along with their origins in the descriptions of all my products, but I thought I could extend this. I've seen some websites display badges on their product pages to highlight particular characteristics of their products, so I've created my own set of these. They'll be added to every product, so that you can easily see which products meet your particular requirements.

Some of these badges apply to all my products, like cruelty-free and vegan, but I've added them because I know people sometimes head straight to the Shop and don't always read About pages on websites. ​

I'll be adding a full explanation of what all the badges mean to the About page, so you can check the precise definitions I've given them. I hope this clarifies exactly what is and is not contained in my products. ​
