These masks are sold as dry powder in eco-friendly compostable pouches. To use, simply take a scoop of powder and mix with a wetting agent of your choice. This can be water, fruit or vegetable pulp (avoid citrus fruits), milk or yoghurt according to your preference. Please only use food-grade ingredients to ensure the finished mask is safe for use on skin, and avoid vinegars as they will make the mask too acidic. Once mixed with your chosen wetting agent, the mask must be used immediately and any excess discarded, so I recommend only using a small scoop of clay at a time until you find the proportions that work best for you (see also the sample recipes below). The pouch is resealable so the dry mask will keep for up to six months if kept in dry conditions.
